What if I can't make it on my scheduled day because of an emergency or other conflict?
You can make a last-minute switch with another family in cases of emergency. You will have contact information for all the other families in the class, and there will be someone willing to step in and help out in our supportive community.
Please note: It is your responsibility to coordinate a replacement if you are unable to volunteer on your assigned day.
What do I do with my younger children on days I am scheduled to volunteer in the classroom?
Although WLCP does not make formal arrangement for siblings, groups of families often cooperate to share care giving responsibilities. This is one of the benefits of a connected, close-knit community! Additionally, parents are welcome to practice baby-wearing and bring their infants under age 1.
