- The children are exposed to music and songs, storytelling, dramatic play and science to encourage their interests and understanding of their worlds.
- Gross motor and fine motor coordination are encouraged through the use of toys and special equipment such as the sensory table, work bench, building toys, large blocks, tricycles and outdoor play equipment.
- A lending library is available so children can check out books.
- Local field trips are planned to expand our children’s learning of the world outside the classroom.
- Seasonal celebrations provide happy rites of passage as well as alternate patterns of social interaction.
